MOFCOM Scholarship Duration

MOFCOM Scholarship Coverage

The MOFCOM Scholarship 2025 provides comprehensive financial support, including:

1. Tuition Fees: Exempt from all tuition fees, teaching materials fees, research fees, English teaching subsidies, and graduation thesis guidance fees.
2. Accommodation: Free on-campus housing.
3. Living Stipend:
   • 36,000 RMB per year for Master’s degree students.
   • 42,000 RMB per year for PhD students.
4. Settlement Allowance: 3,000 RMB per person.
5. Medical Insurance: Comprehensive medical insurance coverage in China.
6. Airfare:
   • For students studying for one year: One free round-trip international air ticket.
   • For students studying for two or more years: One free round-trip international air ticket + additional round-trip tickets for visiting home during the study period (n-1 round trips, where n is the number of years of study).
7. Academic Review: An annual academic review is required. Students who pass the review continue to receive funding in the following year.
8. Additional Expenses: Any additional fees will be managed by the Ministry of Commerce or the university and will not be directly distributed to students.

Eligibility Criteria for MOFCOM Scholarship

To be eligible for the MOFCOM Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Nationality: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens.
2. Academic Requirements:
   • For Master’s programs: You should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
   • For PhD programs: You should hold a Master’s degree or equivalent.
